Group Head of Compliance & Risk
Carlo Casaleggio is a compliance, risk and governance professional with extensive experience across enterprise-wide risk management, regulatory compliance and business improvement. His expertise spans key areas including sanctions, AML/CFT, ethics frameworks and corporate governance, supporting institutions operating across multiple jurisdictions. In his role as Group Head of Compliance, Carlo is responsible for ensuring adherence to applicable local and international regulatory requirements, while leading the identification, assessment and mitigation of risks across the business. He plays a central role in strengthening governance frameworks and embedding a robust compliance culture across the Group. Carlo holds two law degrees and a master’s in business leadership. He is an admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, an internationally certified Compliance Professional, a certified Compliance Practitioner, and a certified Ethics Officer.
